1 step forward 3 steps back
Life would be so much easier if I could leave things alone. That's not going to happen so it's that time of the year again when I have too much time on my hands and it seems like a great idea to completely tear my bike apart and 'improve' it.
True, but said lady friend told me I could come home at "whatever time I liked" today. Perfect words to utter if you don't want to see me for 12 hours and I have "a few things to do on the Guzzi".
Well, as a huge nerd of course I know the weight savings. Frame rails and chopped off down tubes weigh 13lbs. Added bracing adds about another 2-3lbs. More importantly it looks cool and allows the V11 headers to tuck in nicely.
good thing you don't have a demanding lady friend

ReplyDeleteso with de-railing you get an increase of 10 BOTT cool points,
ReplyDeletebut for the nerds, have you calculated what the weight saving is?
